Part number received may vary slightly but will still be an up to date & compatible BCM.
Why do you need my VIN?Â
This unit was used in various models and to ensure the unit you receive is programmed to your vehicles factory specs; we will require your VIN unit to program this data to the replacement.
In these vehicles your VIN must be programmed to sync with other components in the vehicle. For instance, if your VIN does not match, your radio will not function.
Mileage Reset Option:
We can adjust the mileage if needed however, if a lower mileage is needed then what is shown on the cluster, we will require the instrument cluster. Please reach out to us if you are planning to program mileage lower than what shows on the cluster. We will provide you the address to send the cluster.
If the mileage needed to be adjusted is higher than what shows on the cluster just include your mileage in the notes section during checkout. No instrument cluster is needed.
Technician’s Notes:Â
The GMT355 was built to be the successor to the dependable GMT325 but unfortunately, they did have some issues with the body control module due to the lack of moisture protection.
Replacing the BCM with our rebuilt unit should also fix passlock issues.
The BCM is located behind the passenger side kick panel.
