Details:
Please note: This service does NOT have a warranty and is NOT refundable.
This is a capacitor replacement service and we suggest that your symptoms match the ones listed above.
9 times out of 10 a set of new capacitors will fix issues with the unit but due to the time involved replacing these capacitors we cannot offer a refund for the work performed.
Please take the time to check if capacitors have already been replaced in your unit, if so, this service will most likely not work. You can typically tell by pulling off the cover and seeing if any glue or silicone is around the capacitors.
The entire process from start to finish typically takes 5 to 7 business days including transit times. (From your door to ours, back to yours.)
Our service only includes return shipping (you must pay to ship the unit to us, we do not include a shipping label)
To send your unit in for service please follow these steps;
- Remove your ECU from the vehicle.
- Purchase the service by clicking the Buy Now button Above. (Pre-paying for the service will speed up handling times)
- Include the same name used to place the order on or inside the package. That name is your receipt.
- Using any shipping service, ship the unit to

Technician’s notes:
As our vehicles age components such as computers can leave us scratching our head due to erratic symptoms. This computer commonly suffers from capacitor failure.
When capacitors age they basically dry out keeping the computer from functioning properly and causing intermittent problems.
If your caps have been changed out recently our service may not repair your unit.
As rare as these units are becoming our service is a great place to start when diagnosing a no start issue and since age is a catalyst to capacitor failure, our service is a great preventative measure against further damage.
